Information we process
- Email enquiries: your email address, name and any information you choose to include when you contact us.
- Technical records: our hosting provider may process limited request information such as IP address, browser details, requested pages, timestamps and security logs.
- Direct orders: the name and UK delivery address you enter on rcity.uk before checkout, together with your email address, products, quantity, order and payment references, payment status and fulfilment information.
- Returns and support information: your name, email address, purchase channel, order or receipt number, selected return category and any optional details, photographs or documents you choose to provide.
This website does not provide user accounts. It provides a return request form, and we do not currently use advertising or behavioural analytics on rcity.uk.
Why we use it
We use enquiry and support information to reply to you, provide product support, take steps connected with a possible or completed purchase, keep appropriate business records and meet legal obligations. We use limited technical records to deliver, secure and maintain the website.
Depending on the circumstances, our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before a contract, performing a contract, complying with a legal obligation, or our legitimate interests in answering enquiries, supporting customers and protecting this website.
Who receives information
Netlify hosts this website and its checkout-support functions. Netlify also receives and stores return request form submissions on our behalf so we can respond. When you continue from the UK delivery form, the name and delivery address you entered are sent through our checkout function to Square so Square can create the order and use the address for fulfilment. Square also provides the hosted checkout, payment and order-processing services under its own privacy notice. Payment details are entered only on Square, and RAYVIN CITY LTD does not receive your full card number. IONOS provides domain and email services, and messages and form notifications sent to our business address are forwarded to and handled through Google email services.
When you follow the link to eBay, you leave rcity.uk and eBay processes information under its own privacy notice. We may also disclose information where required by law or when reasonably necessary to establish or defend legal rights.
International processing and retention
Some service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where required, the relevant provider is responsible for using an approved safeguard for that transfer.
We keep information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the enquiry, return or support request, our record-keeping needs, dispute handling and applicable legal obligations. Retention therefore depends on the nature of your contact and whether it relates to a purchase.
Cookies and similar technologies
We do not currently set analytics or advertising cookies on rcity.uk. When you start a direct checkout, we set a short-lived, secure cookie that links this browser to the Square order so the confirmation page can verify the payment. It is essential to the requested checkout and expires automatically. Netlify may also process technical request data to deliver and secure the site. Square and eBay may use their own cookies when you visit their services.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to the use of your information, and to receive certain information in a portable form. You may also withdraw consent where consent is the basis used.
